Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) to deliver freight to designated destinations across the country.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork within DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
