Job Overview
As a Dump Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the local infrastructure and construction projects. We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in their work and operate heavy machinery safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials, soil, and debris to and from job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload materials safely using appropriate machinery or equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle mileage.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors.
- Keep the truck clean and perform basic maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL preferred but willing to train the right candidate).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
