Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver goods to designated routes in and around Kansas City, MO.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional image.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and map reading.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
