Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from schools and educational events
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain orderly bus conduct
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and dispatch staff
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and district routing schedules
- Respond calmly to emergencies and student needs during transit
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B CDL with passenger endorsement (training available)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Minimum 21 years old with high school diploma/GED
- Experience working with children preferred
