Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations and company protocols
- Plan and optimize daily routes for maximum efficiency and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and inventory verification
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and problem resolution
- Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and mileage logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes for real-time challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate in weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Austin roadways
- Basic inventory management and delivery documentation experience
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- DOT physical certification or willingness to obtain
- Background check and drug screening required
