Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently plan and execute multi-stop delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper customer signatures for each shipment
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries professionally
- Load/unload shipments with care to prevent damage or spoilage
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in delivery/logistics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management skills with attention to route optimization
- Basic knowledge of Long Beach street navigation and traffic patterns
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
