As a Route Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive their products on time and in perfect condition. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their driving record and customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated routes and customer locations.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and security.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, miles driven, and vehicle maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to a professional demeanor and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Class B with appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills with experience using GPS and delivery software.
