Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver freight on time and in full.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and all necessary paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery point, including dock receivers and receivers.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and a drug screen.
- Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to lift and handle cargo and perform manual labor as needed.
