Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers on various routes across the United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and records of service for all assigned loads.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA) and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUI or reckless driving violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
