Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on highways and local roadways.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to maintain client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling.
