Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a clean driving record and a zero-tolerance policy for safety violations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of sitting for extended periods and handling cargo.
