Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo according to safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and all required documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and strict company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
