Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials on designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness/maintenance logs
- Deliver items promptly while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper lifting techniques
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Document delivery status and report any discrepancies or incidents
- Optimize routes for timely delivery and fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Omaha area geography
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
