Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (lift gates, pallet jacks).
- Verify and document cargo condition and weight accurately.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and comply with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.
