Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial clients throughout the San Francisco area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery information, including addresses and package contents, before and after each drop.
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining a positive attitude and resolving any service issues.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route management tools to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic English proficiency for effective communication with dispatch and customers.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for route updates.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to punctuality.
- At least 1 year of driving experience preferred.
