Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects or issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally at delivery sites.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, adhering to company appearance standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours and pass a background check.
