Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within Ohio and neighboring states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and delivery windows
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment handling
- Build client relationships through professional on-time service
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability/cargo coverage)
- Drug-free and background clearance required
