Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Ohio and neighboring states
- Plan optimized delivery routes using our remote fleet management portal
- Maintain electronic logs, vehicle inspections, and compliance documentation from home office
- Coordinate with dispatch teams via remote communication systems
- Inspect cargo and ensure secure loading/unloading procedures
- Build client relationships through professional on-site interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial freight experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background screening
- Proficient in electronic logging and remote fleet apps
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and regional overnight trips
- Experience with hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
