Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes with predictable home time
- Perform pre-trip inspections, post-trip inspections, and basic preventive maintenance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, delivery paperwork, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and troubleshoot delays
- Represent the company professionally through customer interactions and safe driving practices
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and performance monitoring
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with tanker or flatbed endorsement preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service rules
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Experience with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation systems
- Must reside within 50 miles of Madison, WI
