Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on designated regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients and dispatch team
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time deliveries
- Report maintenance issues and perform minor repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
