Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated routes across the western United States
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and adhere to all FMCSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles before/during/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Build long-term relationships with dedicated clients in Southern California
- Utilize advanced GPS routing for optimal fuel efficiency and on-time deliveries
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Strong understanding of hazardous materials handling (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips and weekend availability
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading
