Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and freight to designated residential and commercial addresses within the Jacksonville metro area.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods, maintaining a 100% on-time delivery record.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and providing excellent service.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Manage paperwork, including delivery logs and receipts, with high attention to detail.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent driver’s license.
- A clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow routes efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery apps.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
