Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight deliveries in Atlanta metro area
- Optimize routes using provided dispatch software to maximize daily mileage and revenue
- Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance
- Build and maintain professional relationships with warehouse staff and clients
- Submit accurate delivery documentation and mileage reports via mobile app
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load scheduling and priority routing
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2015+ model preferred) with proper insurance
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Proficient in smartphone navigation and basic fleet management apps
