Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations within St. Petersburg metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse and delivery points
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or commercial driving license (CDL) preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of St. Petersburg area streets and GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
