Responsibilities
- Operate a 26' Box Truck to transport freight safely and efficiently across the region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and mileage logs.
- Interact professionally with clients and warehouse personnel at pickup and delivery points.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Must currently own a 26' Box Truck or equivalent equipment.
- Valid Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
