Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks or flatbeds for local deliveries within Los Angeles County
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles streets and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Reliable transportation to/from depot
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Excellent time management and communication skills
