We are currently hiring dedicated individuals to join our part-time driving staff. No prior driving experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to get you certified.
Responsibilities
- Safely Transport Students: Drive the bus route on time, ensuring all students board and disembark safely.
- Maintain Order: Supervise student behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere on the bus.
- Vehicle Inspection: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Communication: Report any mechanical issues immediately and communicate effectively with dispatch and school staff.
- Customer Service: Provide a friendly, professional demeanor to parents and students alike.
Qualifications
- CDL License: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B or C) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no recent DUIs or major traffic violations.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift equipment and navigate bus steps with ease.
- Availability: Ability to work early mornings and/or late afternoons.
