Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (26ft-26ft) for time-sensitive deliveries across Newark and surrounding areas
- Manage efficient route planning to meet delivery windows while optimizing fuel usage
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and digital tracking through our mobile app
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance
- Communicate directly with clients for delivery confirmations and address issues
- Coordinate with dispatch team to adjust schedules based on volume and traffic
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (2005 or newer) with DOT inspection certification
- Experience with local/regional delivery logistics
- Proficiency in smartphone navigation apps and digital tracking systems
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
