Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-sponsored activities on designated routes.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe bus environment at all times.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Assist passengers in entering and exiting the bus, ensuring proper use of seatbelts.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Must have a satisfactory driving record (MVR) free of major violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
