Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict schedules
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure mechanical safety
- Maintain orderly student conduct during transportation
- Adhere to all federal, state, and district transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Document mileage and route performance accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (Class B with P/S endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage student behavior calmly
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
