Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and documents to designated healthcare facilities and laboratories in the Tulsa metro area.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle before and after each shift.
- Follow all established routes and time schedules to ensure timely deliveries to clients.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols when handling sensitive medical materials.
- Utilize handheld scanners and delivery management software to log package status and proof of delivery.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies immediately to the dispatch team.
- Interact professionally with hospital staff, lab personnel, and patients while maintaining a courteous demeanor.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and mobile data applications.
- Strong sense of punctuality and reliability; must be able to adhere to strict time windows.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
