Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, pharmaceuticals, and lab equipment across Newark and surrounding areas
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for sensitive materials during transit
- Verify documentation, chain-of-custody forms, and patient information for all shipments
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Communicate proactively with medical facilities regarding shipment status and delays
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and report equipment issues immediately
- Utilize GPS tracking systems to provide real-time delivery updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical courier or specimen transport experience
- Valid NJ driver's license with clean driving record
