Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab supplies between hospitals, clinics, and laboratories
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for sensitive materials
- Complete accurate documentation and delivery tracking systems
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety regulations at all times
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical transport or logistics
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficient with GPS technology and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
