Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, pharmaceuticals, and critical supplies between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain chain-of-custody documentation
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Perform vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Communicate proactively with clients and dispatch regarding delivery status
- Assist with inventory management and supply restocking at partner locations
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling protocols
- Proficiency with mobile technology and route navigation apps
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
