Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, medications, and supplies between healthcare facilities with strict adherence to HIPAA protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our mobile tracking system
- Verify recipient information and ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive materials
- Coordinate with medical facilities to optimize delivery routes and timing
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain clean, organized transport equipment
- Respond proactively to delivery exceptions and communicate delays to stakeholders
- Uphold strict confidentiality standards for all patient materials
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical logistics experience preferred
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile technology platforms
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time-management skills with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of medical packaging and specimen handling
- Exceptional communication skills for healthcare stakeholder interactions
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
