Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain sterile transport conditions
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff and clinic coordinators
- Handle emergency STAT deliveries with urgency and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Medical courier experience or healthcare background preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficient with electronic logging systems and mobile applications
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
