Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens and packages between medical facilities, labs, and hospitals in Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to strict safety and biohazard protocols during loading, transport, and unloading.
- Verify and document all deliveries accurately using our handheld scanning devices.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned delivery vehicle.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with healthcare staff.
- Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
- Report any delays, incidents, or vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the dispatch team.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle (if not using company fleet).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and tracking.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
