Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals safely and securely to designated medical facilities.
- Adhere strictly to all HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols regarding temperature control and specimen handling.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned courier vehicle.
- Verify patient information and delivery paperwork accurately before and after each run.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with medical staff, patients, and clients.
- Utilize route-planning software to optimize delivery efficiency and ensure on-time arrivals.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 5 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld delivery devices.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in logistics, delivery, or healthcare is a plus but not required.
