Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to local businesses and residential addresses within the Seattle metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks efficiently, adhering to weight limits.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including BOLs (Bill of Lading) and digital inspection reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs, ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Uphold company safety standards and DOT regulations at all times while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a commercial vehicle across state lines.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of navigation apps and GPS systems to plan efficient routes.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
