Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses within the Richmond metro area.
- Obtain customer signatures and photos upon delivery to verify receipt and maintain proof of delivery.
- Inspect vehicle daily before and after shifts to ensure cleanliness and proper mechanical functioning.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues professionally and efficiently.
- Sort and organize packages in the delivery vehicle to ensure efficient route planning.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for commercial delivery work.
- Strong knowledge of the Richmond, VA geography and traffic patterns.
- Proficiency with smartphone applications for navigation and job management.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
