Job Overview
We are seeking a Local Delivery Driver to manage the transportation of goods within the Greensboro area. This role requires a commitment to punctuality, safe driving habits, and excellent customer interaction. If you have a Class C CDL or equivalent experience and a desire to work with a top-tier team, we want you.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload cargo safely and efficiently at each stop.
- Follow designated delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time arrival.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Inspect vehicles before and after shifts to ensure they are roadworthy.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and inspection reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery van interior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
