Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial locations in the Boston metro area in a timely and professional manner.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers politely, ensuring satisfaction and handling any inquiries or issues with a smile.
- Vehicle Care: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and proof of delivery forms.
- Route Management: Follow provided GPS routes to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency.
- Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and handle packages, including those that may be heavy or fragile, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Technology: Reliable smartphone with a data plan for navigation and app-based delivery management.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Punctuality: Strong time management skills and a commitment to being on time for shifts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
