Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport loose materials (sand, gravel, dirt) to and from job sites.
- Load and unload trucks safely using skid steers, forklifts, or manual labor.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and comply with all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors to ensure timely delivery.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including bending, lifting, and climbing.
- Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Previous experience in construction or hauling is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
