Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight on time and ensure cargo is handled with the utmost care and integrity.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Maintain open and professional communication with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Update electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Training provided for qualified candidates).
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on safety and professionalism.
- Physical ability to lift, pull, and push packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
- Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or transportation is preferred but not required.
