Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight within the New Orleans metropolitan area
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timing
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
