Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading of freight with proper equipment (forklift, pallet jack)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A CDL preferred but not required initially)
- Willingness to obtain CDL Class A license with company sponsorship
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No prior experience necessary—training provided
