Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and bulk goods
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Maintain clean and well-functioning equipment
- Navigate complex urban and construction site environments
- Provide exceptional customer service to project stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Dump truck operation certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong spatial awareness and navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisiana roadways and construction zones
- Team player with excellent communication skills
