Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy haul equipment on various job sites.
- Load and unload materials (sand, gravel, dirt, asphalt) efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding schedules and safety hazards.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and in excellent mechanical condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, but not required if willing to complete paid training.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must possess a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card.
- Physical stamina required to lift heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime.
