Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to local Orlando residences and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for high-value items
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Inspect vehicles before and after shifts to ensure safe operating conditions
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and special requests
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management at distribution centers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Orlando metropolitan area and surrounding neighborhoods
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Professional communication skills and friendly customer service demeanor
- Reliable transportation to/from work location with punctual attendance record
