Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on vehicles
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for efficient operations
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years dump truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Physical ability to handle outdoor conditions and manual tasks
- Knowledge of Sacramento area routes and traffic patterns
